As a big part of our work to connect our guests with the culture and the source of many of the ingredients we feature in our menu, Taranta organizes culinary adventures and cultural journeys to Peru and Italy. With an extensive network of relationships built during 18 years of business operations as a restaurant, we have developed experiential travel that showcases the uniqueness of Peruvian and Italian culture, their people and their gastronomy. Those relationships were built upon selecting the most authentic, environmental and socially responsible partners, whether it be a winemaker or a lodge to spend the night. Our mission is to provide our guests with a hands-on “off the beaten path” experience that will be memorable, and by all means, educational and entertaining

We currently offer a 12 day gastronomic adventure to Peru that includes the Sacred Valley of the Incas and Machu Picchu. We are developing a second adventure that is geared toward the active social conscious traveller to the Santa Cruz Hiking Trek and the Santa Cruz Lodge in the middle of an agricultural Andean community in Ancash, promoting and experiencing sustainable agriculture, social responsibility, community outreach and mindfulness.
